“The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the republican model of government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people. ”

We at the Hope For
America Coalition have a
threefold “roadmap” for
achieving our goal of
winning hearts and minds
to Constitutionalist,
Freedom principles.
These are:
Education.
We believe that a
well-informed
citizen, who
understands the
significance of
freedom and the need
to protect it, will
choose
self-government over
any other option.
Unfortunately, the
mainstream media,
being dominated by
powerful corporate
interests that wish
to preserve the
status quo for the
sake of their own
power and influence,
refuse to advocate
increased
self-government as
it does not fit
their agenda.
Therefore, it is
incumbent upon us as
individual members
of this Coalition to
inform the public as
to the true spirit
and intent of the
Constitution and
give them the tools
to understand just
what is happening to
our county and to
our founding
document.
The Hope for
America Coalition
seeks to educate the
public via a
periodical
newsletter, a
monthly (or
quarterly) magazine,
and websites (www.hfapac.org
and
www.hopeforamericacoalition.org)
that will serve as
clearinghouses for
information and
articles pertaining
to the Freedom
movement in its
myriad forms.
Other aspects of
our educational
activities will
include, but not be
limited to, the
following:
- Networking with
other like-minded
people and
organizations
- Providing
educational tools
and curricula for
schools, civic and
community
organizations,
churches, etc.
Issue
Advocacy.
We believe that the
Constitution places
strict limits on the
extent of government
with regard to civil
liberties and
property rights. A
right to live a life
without the
interference of a
meddling federal
government is
enshrined in the
Bill of Rights and
must be protected at
all costs. The Hope
for America
Coalition will
assist in this
effort by sponsoring
seminars, debates,
and open discussion
forums on issues of
the day that deal
with personal and
corporate freedoms,
as well as dialogue
on the true intent
of limited central
government as a
whole as enshrined
in the Constitution.
In addition, the
Coalition will be
involved in lobbying
legislators,
attending community
“townhall” forums,
and, if necessary,
demonstrating
against
unconstitutional
abuses of government
power. We will serve
as a vehicle to
communicate directly
with government
officials at all
levels regarding our
concerns, and we
intend to be a voice
to confront the mass
media when they
knowingly run
stories whose themes
run counter to the
spirit and intent of
the Constitution of
the United States.
Political Action.
The Hope for America
Coalition will look
to identify,
endorse, and support
(both financially
and with grassroots
activity) candidates
who subscribe to our
Founding Principles
(the “Freedom
Agenda”). We will
work to get them
elected to public
office at the
precinct, local,
state, and Federal
levels. A long-term
goal of the
Coalition is to
sponsor one hundred
sitting legislators
in the United States
House and Senate who
believe in the
Freedom Agenda. With
this “critical mass”
of legislators, we
can begin to roll
back some of the
governmental
overreaches of the
past 80 years and
get back to limited
central government
as the Founders
envisioned and
intended.
To accomplish
this ambitious goal,
we will provide not
only funding and
other assistance to
deserving candidates
at the local and
state levels, but we
will also serve as a
training and
grooming base for
candidates of all
political parties
who subscribe to our
Freedom message.
