“Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.”
- Dwight D. Eisenhower

The Hope for America
Coalition is leading the
charge to re-awaken and
refresh the spirit of
individual rights and
freedom. As strict
Constitutionalists of
all walks of life and
all party affiliations,
we believe that the
spirit of freedom
transcends political
parties, ethnic
boundaries, and
socioeconomic status.
All of us yearn to
breathe free - free of
onerous taxation, free
of oppressive
bureaucratic regulation,
free of the interference
and encroachment of an
increasingly large,
complex, and
unaccountable Federal
government.
We believe that the
solution to this is not
more rules, more
regulations, and more
centralized control over
our lives; but, instead,
it is surprisingly
simple. We need to get
back to the basics upon
which this country was
founded over 230 years
ago, which are enshrined
in the Constitution of
the United States.
HFAC Basic Assumptions
Human beings are
endowed by their
Creator with the
inalienable,
irrevocable rights
to life,
liberty,
estate
(property), and the
pursuit of
happiness.
As such, they are
also endowed by the
same Creator with
the means of
self-government
– with the ability
to serve as, in
effect, a
“government unto
themselves.”
In the interests
of commerce, order,
sovereignty, and
security, humans
cede a
small portion
of their
self-government and
rights in a
social contract
with government,
according to the
rule of law.
The Constitution
is the
only social
contract of the
modern era that
dictates to
government
the limit of its
authority over the
people, instead of
dictating to the
people how much
freedom the
government will
allow them to have.
Because of this, the
Constitution has
proven to be a
remarkably resilient
and inspired
document of national
governance that has
stood the test of
time for over 220
years.
However,
the Constitution
today is under
assault. The
influence of wealthy
and powerful
corporate interests
and lobbies,
legislation
“created” via
Executive Orders
(fiats) and court
rulings, and the
corrupt machinations
of increasingly
bloated and
centralized
bureaucracies have
allowed a culture in
Washington to take
root in which the
Constitution is
either selectively
followed or ignored
outright. In fact,
many of those in
power have become so
twisted in their
collective thinking
that those who
insist on
Constitutional
compliance are
called “radicals”
and ridiculed.
These assaults
have resulted in a
concentration of
power and authority
in the hands of a
select few people at
the very highest
levels of business
and government the
likes of which this
country has not seen
before in its
history, with the
possible exception
of the US Civil War.
As all Federal
officeholders and
government employees
are required to take
an oath of office
that states that
they will “support
and defend the
Constitution of the
United States
against all enemies,
foreign and domestic,”
it can be reasonably
adjudged that in
allowing these
assaults on the
Constitution to
occur,
these
“representatives”
have violated their
oath of office
and must be called
to account for this
egregious act by
their constituents.
“Those who expect to
reap the blessings of
freedom, must, like men,
undergo the fatigue of
supporting it.”
- Thomas Paine
